Miri, Zairyo, and Emiko do not remember the past; all they remember is fire and heat. They have lived in the slums of London trying to fend for themselves for the past few years. When Ciel Phantomhive is asked to investigate the disappearance of the Arkwright children, his search leads him to Miri, Zairyo, and Emiko. But the investigation has more than one catch; including a Bengal tiger on the rampage in the centre of London.

She was very shy so everyone more or less left her alone, apart from one raven haired child named L.lawliet. Kumiko doesn't remeber anything about her childhood. She was found wandering along a dirt road in Japan with blood on her head and clothes. All she could remember was her name and that no one was with her anymore. Years pass and the Kira case comes to light (no pun intended! ;D), drawing these two people together. One intent on self destruction, the other determined to fix her and her partner's relationship.
