Elfie De Luca is a twelve year-old girl with problems. Her mother is a fortune teller with only enough salary to live in the tiny hut where her mother Victoria tells fortunes. One day at her school she meets a new student, Aim. Aim is secretive and doesn't talk much until Elfie spots her talking alone to a student. After finding out where Aim is from Elfie is determined to go there too. Only to find out it's not exactly what she expected.
