poetry by a person that's afraid of people. 12/23/15- #1 in poetry

my name is Emily, my bestfriend was Caleb. We both homeschooled so after we did school each day I usually went to his place. Caleb was a person I loved to be around. If I looked sad he would always let me open up to him about my feelings. If I was scared he would always make me more comfortable. If I felt stupid he always made sure I knew i was smart. I could tell him anything and everything. Except my feelings about HIM. I had a crush on him for 3 months. I just doubted he felt the same. I fell in love with his looks, personality, humor, kindness, and how caring he was. but then one day everything changed..... ( mature content will be in this book not recommended for young audiences.)

Chloe knew that the bruises weren't from the hands of her parents. But what she didn't know is why Melanie believed they were. Now, Melanie was fighting for the safety of Chloe and her little sister. But what if they were already safe? What if Melanie was only separating the girls from their loving parents? By trying to help, was she making everything worse? And Chloe knew that this, could tear her life apart, right after she had carefully sewn it back together.
