Leider ist ihr Freund Ron, was das betrifft nicht gerade verständnisvoll und nimmt ihre Angst nicht besonders ernst, was Hermine frustriert und sie sich nach und nach beginnt zu verändern. Severus Snape hat nicht nur mit körperlichen Spuren zu kämpfen, sondern auch mit seinen eigenen Gefühlen und Ängsten, doch irgendwie findet er in Hermine eine Seelenverwandte und sie kommen sich näher, als sie es beabsichtigt hatten.
