When Reyna Winters-a girl with Skittle-red hair and a candy addiction-finds out that she's failing Chemistry, she's given a final chance to pass an impossible test. SHe needs help from the only other student who has passed the test. He's known around school as the White Coat Freak-a boy who is never seen without his lab coat on. Wesley Black may seem colder than steel, but much more lies under his stoic persona. While Wesley teaches Reyna about science, she makes it her mission to teach him about having fun. And together they learn about a different kind of chemistry. ***This is the first draft written in 2012. A revised version with more scenes and better romance titled SWEETLY & SCIENTIFICALLY is completed on my Wattpad profile.*** © All Rights Reserved

The only thing I knew for sure was that Sebastian was left-handed, didn't laugh easily, and was terrible at holding a conversation. "Are you coming with us tonight?" I asked him, barely keeping my voice from cracking. "For a drink?" "No," he said abruptly, as he stood up and took his tray with him. "I don't drink." And he was gone. OK, so left-handed and with an attitude. That was weird. I think my friend saw my staggered look because she said, "Don't mind him, it's nothing personal. He's like that with everyone." I just smiled her way, deciding to believe her. After all, it was the only explanation that made sense. Right? *** If the perfect world existed, Ava and Sebastian would be in it, in love. But in this world, they are both closely watched by their demons. Their baggage is not light: Ava has hers carefully folded in vacuum bags to occupy as little room as possible; Sebastian wears his like a lead armor that makes him slouch sometimes. They like each other, but how are their demons going to get along? Ava spent half her life being a twin. Ever since her sister died, she has tried to live for the both of them and rarely allows herself to feel the pain that is still very much present. Although Sebastian is a few years older, his medical residency got postponed because of his own tragedy. Now all he does is take life one day at a time, never wondering if there might be something more for him out there. Until Ava comes along and shows him how, against all logic, the pain can make them whole again.

It's a collection of the words and lines that aren't resting in my head and probably from that muscular muscle in my chest, too.
