In a battle with the Decepticons, Crosshairs got jumped from all sides. He got injured really bad and was in a comma like sleep for weeks. He got shot in the throat, hip, and chest. The Autobots thought he wasn't going to make it. With injuries like his, Ratchet had to work on him just about non stop. Drift was blaming him self for letting his partner down.
