He takes his other hand putting my hair behind my ear. Why is he doing this? He slowly brings his lips to my ear. I can feel his lips barely touching the top of my ear making me suck in a sharp breath. "I like knowing you're scared of me" He whispers. His breath hits my ear and fans out to my neck. I shiver at his words. He stays that way for a moment before sliding his hand down my forearm and slowly pulling his head away. Our bodies still touching, he looks down at me with a smirk on his lips before he lets me go and walks away without another word. ~~~~ He is not the same person anymore. He has secrets. With him in her life, it is just a bittersweet tragedy.

"Tate Moore is fucking psychotic." He stared at me blankly, like he hadn't just insulted himself. He snapped his gum, as my mouth hung open. Then something completely unexpected happened. He plucked the gum from his mouth and stuck it on my nose, thumb pressing it onto my skin until in stayed. I blinked in shock as he ducked forward and pressed his lips to mine. The kiss was short and brief, and he pulled away with that same expressionless look. I could feel the cool air drying the gum on my sniffer as he said, "Now, Poppy Dawson is fucking crazy, too."

I warned through gritted teeth, unable to cover the irritation from his persistence. "I will ruin you." He smiled as his eyes were covered with promise and determination. He leaned in to me, invading my personal space and my sane thinking. His close proximity making it hard for me to grasp logical thoughts. In which an 18-year-old who believes he hasn't much to live for leaves his small sleepy town in hopes of finding his mother who abandoned him years ago. "What the hell are you doing?" Ryker inquiries in panic. She was running towards the edge of the cliff and seemed in no hurry to stop. His heart literally stopped for a second but then he ran after her to stop this insanity because there was only the ocean on the other side of the cliff. "Sarah!" He yelled but only heard her mirthful laughter in return. He cursed under his breath as he saw her hands unbuttoning her shirt. Soon her shorts joined her shirt on the ground. "Stop! It's dangerous, Sarah!" He barely caught her hand but lost his balance and they both fell in the ocean with a loud splash. For a second or two he thought that he was gonna drown; he struggled to move his limbs and finally surfaced. He greedily sucked in air and rubbed his eyes to clear his blurry vision. He heard her laughter before he saw her and it was filled with joy. Such carefree laughter and so much joy that nothing could change it. "Are you insane, woman?" He almost yelled in disbelief. She only gave a lazy smile as her eyes twinkled with amusement "Life is too short to not have fun." ******************************************** Ryker Black was called the devil in business world.
