Do you really want to see me? Do you want to know how I look? What I am like? Are you prepared to meet me? Are you willing to let go? Are you ready to let go? You are afraid. I know. Whether you are ready or not I will come back for you. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ Life for Asha Strauss was trapped in a routine. The only ONE that made her day interesting was Zach Larson. He was the epitome of perfection. Intelligent, popular, and had the face and body that was unrealistic. It was as if he had been molded by the gods themselves. She swore that he must have been an angel who fell from the heavens. The only problem was that he was one of the biggest jerks in school. Nevertheless, she remained attracted to him for some very odd reason. She knew that he was way out of her league. So, Asha did what she reckoned was best--go on living her mundane routines and steal glances at him just to add some salt and pepper into her bland life. ...Until an unforeseen near death experience changed everything. As far as lazy roommates go, Death is probably as bad as they come. Rosa Delgada only wants a nice, ordinary weekend. When some guy claiming to be the Reaper comes knocking on her door, any plans of normality are thrown straight out of the window. Now she's got to worry about Death sleeping on her sofa, the forces of evil hunting down her new roommate, and - worst of all - all the post-break-up comfort food she keeps eating. And to make matters worse, Death is almost certainly going to go down in the record books as being the universe's least helpful roommate. He may be a horseman of the apocalypse but he'll be damned if he doesn't do the dishes. But life's going to get a whole lot harder for Rosa. Death's sudden holiday is resulting in some grizzly repercussions, and now all of the Underworld is out to drag him back. There's only so far sarcasm and strawberry ice cream will get you.

Oriane Moore, the new addition to the Diana Mist College, recently discovered that she is a witch. Or more specifically, a so-called 'elemental'. It's changed her life completely. Aside from the usual hocus pocus, hexes, and talking pets, Oriane, like her fellow classmates, is supposed to have control over at least one of the affinities: Fire. Water. Air. Clay. Energy. It's bad enough being the new girl in town, but to make things worse, she hasn't discovered her affinity yet. Which makes her... pretty much human in a school full of the supernatural. While she tries to come to terms with her new identity, an imminent threat lurks in the corners of the serenely composed school. Life is tough at 'Mystic High'! He lit his cigarette, I lit nothing. He drank alcohol, I drank water. He smirked, I smiled. He didn't love me, I didn't love him. He and I together wouldn't last a day. And then the game started... He said he found me intriguing, unique, and interesting because I didn't swoon over him. "You and me Grey, let's play a game. We'll date and in three months time I promise you will fall for me. When you fall in love with me between that time span, I win. If in any way you were to win I'll give up all the alcohol, cigarettes, and player ways." It was a game I wasn't willing to lose, but all games had accidents and consequences. It takes a broken heart to know how to break a heart.
