Phil is an orphan, bullied, and living alone with no friends in a home. He does his best not to let that fact that no one seems to care about him get to him, but it's getting harder. Then a nice couple start to take interest in him, and it turns out they have a son his age, Daniel, but the love they begin to share isn't of a brotherly nature...

It all started with that kiss, that moment and that passion when Dan became lost and Phil was clueless but both in love. The story of a skinny love that slowly becomes into something more and at the same time something less. *Note* Depression, suicide, self-harm and things like this will be mentioned a few times in this phan fiction and it shouldn't be triggering in any way but if it is, I apologize in advanced! Book 1 in the Grim Reaper trilogy! Dan's just like any other person out in the world. Except he's a Reaper, someone who decides whether or not a person should die. He's had this job for as long as he remembers, and is never bothered by what he does. But when he is sent to judge Phil Lester, his life becomes harder and he has to decide between his feelings for the boy and his role in the world.

Phil is an ordinary guy with an ordinary life. Nothing very special about him, he's just normal. But it all changes when, on the weirdest day of his life, he meets the very quiet and recluse, Dan Howell. He's different. Phil doesn't usually do different, but something about Dan makes him want to try it. But when he's pulled into a world he didn't even know existed, he doesn't know if his choice was such a smart one. Because, there's a reason Dan is different. And it might not be so good.

Dan is a firm believer that love doesn't exist. Not in adults, and definitely not in high school. He detests silly love stories and petty relationships, posing as 'love', and nothing could possibly change his mind in that. But when new student Phil takes an intrest in Dan, he can't deny that he's interested in the boy. His bubbly personality and hopeless romantic ways draw Dan in.....and might just change his mind in the thoughts of love.
