Life is like a tightrope. We're all held up on this thin wire, hundreds of feet above the ground. We're trying not to fall, trying to hold on for our dear life. There are people that succeed, making it across the tightrope and looking back without anything to be scared of. Some people have moments when they lose balance. These moments represent the moments in life when you're on the verge of breaking down. There's your tipping point. The moments when you're just so sad, it feels as if the whole world is against you. That's when you have a choice. You can try to get back on the tight rope, hoping that you don't lose balance again, or you can let yourself fall. That's where life and a tightrope differ. In life, most people don't have a safety net to catch them if they choose to fall. Most people just fall and break. My name is Rebecca Varela, and this is the story of my tipping point.
