I'm the Alpha of a rogue pack. When I say rogues, I mean shifters shunned and thrown out of their packs for being different. Shifters are born from wolves, wolves who carry the recessive gene of a shifter and pass it on to their child. Every parent fears that their child will be a shifter. If it so happens that a shifter is born into a family, they are discarded, left on their own with slim chances of survival. Worst case scenario; that innocent child is killed and forgotten. A child first shifts on their fifth birthday; until the child's fifth birthday it is unknown whether they are wolf or shifter. The highest wolves in our society disregard us shifters, wanting their bloodline to remain pure and untainted. Well they can all go screw themselves.
