Aurora Alexandra Marie had it all. A degree in music, a loving family, loving friends. She had everything she could ever dream of. She lived a happy life, though everything changed when she met Matias Parker. Her first love, per se. Aurora thought that he would be her one and only. She was wrong. Aurora was brought into an abusive relationship, in which Matias had total control over her. He wouldn't let her leave the four walls of her dark, cold bedroom. There was no speaking against his will, because if she did there would be consequences. Though one day when she just she couldn't take it anymore, Aurora escaped the horrors of his household and ran out onto the streets, the pouring rain sliding down her face. It was a dark and stormy night, which made it difficult for Matias to retrieve her. That led to him heading home in rage, his blood boiling through his veins. Cuts, scars, and bruises covered Aurora's body. She ran and ran, not knowing when to stop. Hell she didn't even know where she was going, but she was just relieved and thankful that she had escaped. Her mind was racing with thoughts and she almost felt dizzy from it. Bumping into a man had seemed to knock her out of her trance though. She was frozen in place. The trauma of being locked up for so long was finally hitting her. the fear, the paranoia. He noticed the tears running down her face; the cuts along her arms. He was surprised, but more so confused and conflicted. She looked like she needed help. With that, he quietly reassured the terrified female and led her back to his house. Aurora was surprised that she even agreed to follow, considering her trauma and newfound trust issues. Even so though, she followed and he ended up changing her life for the better. She had a feeling that he wasn't a bad person. She just knew he was genuine with his intentions. She would later feel blessed for following that man that night.
