This is a fan story to provide an alternative ending to Kubo's manga 'cause let's face it-that wasn't a proper ending! This story begins with the fight between the captains and Gerard. However, I will only include summarized versions of most these other fights altering some of them slightly to fit the less than ten parts I intend to write. A lot of emphasis will be put on Ichigo's fight with Yhwach and the aftermath. Happy reading.

In the final battle against Aizen, Ichigo is fatally wounded and dies not long after Aizen does. Unknown to a depressed Rukia, Ichigo goes to Soul Society and attends the Shinigami academy. Does he return to her? Will Rukia see him again? Will they become more than friends? ((AU in which the battle with Aizen ended differently, because after that, the ending was HORRIBLE))

[AU] Hollow attacks skyrocket and focus in on Karakura Town. A team of Captains goes to Hueco Mundo to investigate while Ichigo gains his Shinigami powers and fights to protect his friends. All hell breaks loose as the Sereitei falls to its knees with the Shiba Clan and Aizen being the epicentre of the chaos.
