It is 1978, the band 'Queen' have been working together for almost 8 years, Freddie and John were both in stable relationships with women, but Brian and Roger are confused about who they really are. In a world so full of hate will they be able to come to terms with who they truly are?
Roger Taylor, drummer of Queen, writes a song. A song he loves so much, he wants it as the flip-side of the one and only Bohemian Rhapsody. Everyone disagrees, but Roger became determined to get on the flip-side. Maybe a little too determined...
The year is 2038. Roger is gone, and Brian is not at peace. Since he has no one to turn to, he decides to write everything he remembers down in a journal, from Smile, all the way to Queen + Adam Lambert.
Queen medieval AU
Basic overview: Freddie is a prince, Brian is a knight, Roger is a jester, and John is a lute player.
They have bad shenanigans with Bowie and Jagger and then get from the Doors and the Who and stuff happens. It keeps getting away from my basic overview.
What happens when Queen is transported to a place where horses are born with eagle wings and honey bees have lost their sting? Freddie, Brian, John, and Roger are whisked away to the magical land of Rhye where the kingdoms are at war. Will they ever make it back to England or will they even survive the experience?
Since day one Brian has imagined countless ways to get his crush on their drummer off of his chest, yet he never imagined it to include accidental eavesdropping and him being the one to admit how he feels.
Lycanthropy isn't something that's easy for one to deal with, let alone two teenage wizards who had only wanted a night out. Three years after the incident, Brian begins to fear that his ability at keeping Freddie safe from exposure and their luck at having every other student safe is only running out while Freddie begins to doubt he will ever truly get to live a normal life among his friends and family.
This is actually my first attempt at fanfiction. It takes place between the release of the album Hot Space and the sessions Queen did in LA for their next album The Works. It's bassicly like the title says. It's the band finding out how to become a band again, how to function as a group again. I really really hope you like it, if you don't please still be nice. I could do with some tips if you have them. There is a lot of swearing in here, so be warned.
