An 18 year old girl, named Kristen, finds herself pregnant, single, and no one to turn to. She works for an older lady who insists that everyone call her Grandma Sweets. One day while she is at home in her one room apartment reading, there is a knock on the door. Opening the door she finds a man standing there claiming her to be the daughter to a billionaire named Aaron White.

1776, the Battle of Long Island is at the presence, and Edward Queens falls in the brink of battle. But death is just the beginning because when Edward suddenly comes back to life with superior strength, and the ability to control fire, he is sent to an asylum for years upon years. He becomes immune to time and age in the asylum, so when he comes back out 200 years later he immediately goes into the military to fight in Vietnam. He does many terrible things while fighting, like killing a fellow soldier. Now he is in hiding, with his girlfriend who also has strange abilities, off the grid. He thinks they are safe until a bounty hunter finds them and pushes them out of hiding. Edward decides to take things into his own hands and fights them head on, but he can't do it alone.
