"Hey Katniss," he says. I don't answer, and after awhile he tries to get my attention again. "I don't have any answers so if there's a reason you started hating me, could you please tell me why?" I look over at him, "Why do you think I hate you?" "Well, considering you stopped talking to me out of the blue, I had to assume so." He says. I stopped hanging out with you because I didn't see you as a friend anymore and that scared me. I want to say, but of course I don't. Katniss and Peeta are beloved characters who can be used in millions of stories. This is the sequel to High School is a Game! Katniss is reunited with her old friends that she hasn't spoken to in eight years. There are some surprises, as well as some very predictable things.

They are pulled in, and soon find themselves with lifelong friends. Then Katniss meets someone from her hometown. She discovers he's in love wth her, and she develops feelings for him in return.
