My breath came in short pants and my heart took off at a staccato pace. I felt my skin warm and my blood tingle and this was all just from seeing him again. At first he looked shocked, and then his face turned to a mask of longing. I could hardly believe that I was standing here staring into the eyes of Zach, my Zachary. And then just as quickly a wave of anger washed over his face. I was taken aback by the intensity. He winked at me and then he did the unthinkable. He reached for the girl beside him and laid a kiss on her that would make the Madame of a whore house blush. I quickly turned away and ran off in the other direction. How could I have been so stupid to think that Zach would want plain old me after what I did to him three years ago? He was way to gorgeous to sit around and long for me the same way that I craved him. It was nothing more that just a stupid little girls fantasy, but dammit, why did seeing the truth of it have to hurt so much?

Jenny Brown was an ordinary girl whose only friend seemed to be the most popular boy in high school, Ethan Christenson, who also happened to be the love of her life. They used to do everything together and she seemed to be coping just fine without needing any other friends other than Ethan, but that was until one of Ethan's girl toys created a fight between Jenny and Ethan, forcing them to fall out and for Jenny to seek friendship in the new, but stunningly good looking Seth Langford whilst Ethan continued to use other girls. What will it take for Ethan to realise that the person he has been looking for in his life has been right under his nose the whole time? But with Seth's new brewing friendship growing stronger with Jenny, will it be too late?

**** This is a sample only!! The story is being published on 15th May 2013 so I am not allowed to leave the full version up on Wattpad*** <3<3 Kirsty They say that your school years are supposed to be the best years of your life, and that you should make the most of them because you’ll miss them when you’re all grown up. Up until Maisie Preston’s senior year, she would have totally agreed with that statement. Life was great, she had everything going for her, excellent grades, great parents, an annoying yet caring twin brother, and an impossibly sweet boyfriend. Everything was perfect - that is until the arrival of Zach Anderson. A misfit delinquent that seemed to bring with him a lot of bad karma. Is it just a coincidence that his arrival marks a significant change in Maisie’s life? Up until senior year, life was perfect, but things seem to be going downhill fast. *** This is a companion novel to 'Always You' but the story stands alone, so you do not need to have read 'Always You' first.
