What if the person you trusted the most suddenly became a stranger, who desperately wanted you dead? And if an hour later, they were back to normal? Detective Jack Arnette was a respected cop, before a hostage situation went horribly wrong. Victor Slade is a meditating, hedonistic cop-killer. When Victor makes a pickup at the Seattle docks, Jack sees a chance for redemption. A simple arrest. Respect regained. But events spin out of control when Jack and Victor are quarantined with the dock workers and a virus that can make anyone go temporarily homicidal. Trapped by a SWAT team with orders to shoot anyone who leaves the building, Jack must deal with a cop-killer who has little to lose, and a group of innocents who could become just as dangerous. Who would you trust when anyone could become a killer?

If heaven lay in blissful ignorance would you live in Hell? It's the end of the world, or at least that's what the strange protesters in the Sumar University quad are claiming. Xavier Micheals has heard one too many apocalypse prediction to let talk of the rapture scare him, but he cannot deny that something strange has settled onto the campus, if not the entire world. Strange occurrences start small, like a trashed lecture hall. Soon though, mysterious suited agents have descended upon the campus. Not to mention the strange boy who lives in the library, and the weird behaviour of his two closest friends. Something is going on, and Xavier feels as if he is the only one asking questions. Little does he know, he is in the eye of the coming storm. A tale of free will, Paradise Made is a twisted look at biblical mythology.

A storm of biblical proportions hit the western United States. In its centre, the small town of Springbrook was flooding, residents forced to evacuate to a local landmark: the dark and towering Castle Moore. In the chapel behind, lay the body of a fallen angel. Trapped in his own mind, the angel was jerked from his cycle of pain by a teenaged boy looking for his father. His memories hurt, and he was unsure of so much, but there was one thing he knew for certain. The harsh winds, and pounding rain were only the surface of the storm that was upon them. A war was coming: in hell, in heaven, and on earth, with the castle in the centre of it all. For its walls protected something, something the armies of hell would do anything to possess, and something that called to the angel-like a lost brother. The little girl across the street disappears from her bed. And Josie wakes up in her room the night she goes missing. Just about everyone in Sydney, Australia - including his workaholic parents and ambivalent teachers - thinks Josie is stealing the kids of Tamarama Street. Only two people might believe him - Emerald, the new girl and daughter of the great marine biologist, who has been tracking the children's disappearances, and Manhattan, surf star, intimidating wild girl, and sister of one of the missing kids. Together, the three discover that what is taking the children is not human at all, but something much more ancient, powerful, unstoppable and deadly. Josie will have to face the monster and ultimately, his own demons, if he wants to clear his name and save the kids.

Think of it like a story that can be read in any order. Unable to sleep, the poet is transported to a land of angels and demons, and cosmic truths. On their adventure, they visit many strange places like a side walk in the middle of the night, ancient cities half buried in sand, Eden itself, or even the edge of the earth. Scared, they find their beliefs about the nature of the universe are often challenged, but there is no easy way out. Maybe, one day, they won't be lost any more. For perspective and philosophy see the first half. For life, and experience see the second. A cosmic journey begins at Delight, a more personal one at Regret. There will, however, be overlap.
