Before I start with my story, I’ll brief you with the basics. Hello, my name is Aurelia Judith Stanbury, and here are some things you should know about me. - I’m 5’9” and that makes me taller than most of the girls of my school and even some boys. - I've got super skinny chicken legs. - I attend the most prestigious academy in the entire Europe, Westchester Marquis Academy aka WMA. - I’m secretly crushing on my soon to be brother-in-law. - And…oh did I forget to tell you that I’m the princess of Ashvale a small country to the east of England? And then there is Phoenix Christopher Ashdown. You must’ve heard of him he’s some famous punk artist…or was it heavy metal? (P.S. - for the people, who had already started reading this story, I had posted it on my previous account but now I have DELETED that account. So I’ll be continuing the story from this account. Enjoy!)

Thirty-seven-year-old John Morgan's personal life is already in disarray when he receives a phone call that his brother and niece are dead. His relationship with his father is nearly nonexistent, he barely speaks to his sister, and he has no real friends to lean on. As the tragic news slowly begins to sink in, John realizes he is floating aimlessly in the middle of an unpredictable sea of emotions with no one to rescue him. In this compelling tale that movingly illustrates the devastating effects of a dysfunctional family, John must learn to change what he can, accept what he cannot, and make the difficult decision to leave some things behind. I'm excitedly working on a second novel. Thanks for checking out my work. PS: for those that wish to own my book it can be purchased in multiple formats and found on various major online distribution channels. Thank you!

Nine chapters of the original First draft. I will provide updates when I can on what will happen next with this story. :) *** Ali Anglesey is the picture of grace, elegance, and poise. She's worked hard to be perfect girl appearance wise, aesthetic wise, friend wise and work wise, but it's all an act. An act she's been able to keep up for nearly ten years. After a fall out with the director of her ballet company though, Ali decides to go from full-time ballerina to full-time college student. Finding herself saddened by the loss of the one and only constant in her life since she was eight years old, she tries to be positive about pursuing a new adventure. That is until an unexpected change in events lands her in Professor Henry Davenport's lecture hall. As her past begins to come back to haunt her, Ali starts to wonder if she's made a terrible mistake stepping out of the safety of her bubble. Will she make it through the semester in one piece or will the handsome Professor threaten to tear apart the carefully constructed life she's built for herself and rip open old wounds she's buried deeply beneath years of toe tape and bandages?
