The khajiit had once enjoyed centuries of peace until the moons, Masser and Secunda disappeared. The Altmer took responsibility for their reappearance and the khajiit and their Mane were quick to bow to them. The current political conflicts have forced the Mane out of power. The Thalmor have further sunk their claws into the khajiit states. The current Mane, a cathay named Ri'Vaassa, has been forced to disappear to the depths of the jungles in Pelletine in order to organize forces, something the khajiit nation of Elsweyr has not attempted in years. However, someone close to him has a destiny that could disrupt the Mane's future plans..
