{Book number 1 in my series-Our Little Adventure ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Paige is an adorable 3 year old girl with curly blonde hair and gorgeous dazzling grey eyes. Paige's dad would punish and hit her for anything she said or did, so she went quiet and rarely interacts with anyone, especially since whenever she does do anything she gets bullied by the other kids for it. Before she was rescued from her abusive and neglectful dad, who went to jail, it seemed her luck couldn't get any worse, but when a special someone comes to adopt her, will little Paige's luck finally change for the better? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ {Rated PG for minor language. It is Demi after all}

Meeting my mate was the way most mates meet their mates. Nothing special. It wasn't one where we had known each other for ages but he hated me because I was weak, and he had rejected me but later regretted it when I return from a year long holiday with another pack all hot and strong. It wasn't one where we had a one night stand and I wake up to find him gone, only to see him four years later with our child hiding behind my leg. It wasn't one where I had been abused from my pack for my entire life and when I finally have enough and run as far as I can, I meet my over protective alpha mate. Sure, Leo was an Alpha. But I wasn't an omega. I was the daughter of two healers. He wasn't cold. I wasn't hated. He wasn't possessive. He wasn't a cocky, hot player who didn't want a mate. He wasn't cruel and he definitely didn't have a dark past. He was perfect. And together, we were invincible. But then, we were apart. Kidnapped, beaten, tortured and raped. Endlessly for three years. Then I return home. Expecting my Alpha the same way he was when I was taken. But now, he is broken. As I am. Together we were invincible, apart we were broken.

I had just finished my last show of the Neon Lights Tour in Indianapolis, Indiana. I told my bodyguard, Max, to go ahead and wrap up while I took a walk around. I had just performed for two hours and I was all hot and sweaty. All I took with me was a cold water bottle, my phone, and some earbuds as I started walking. It was late at night, around ten-thirty. I had walked maybe two blocks before I heard a slight whimpering. I slowly walked towards the sound, cautious as to not get hurt. As I got closer the sound got louder, now a full on crying. As I rounded a corner I saw a little girl, no more than two or three years old, huddled in a ball on the ground and crying. I gasped and rushed over to the crying girl. (Read to find out what happens).
