Zuwha grows up in a village where all magic is hated and the ones who use it are executed. One day, when the village is attacked by wolves, he turns out to have magic as well. Yet when he is up for execution, two people show up and take him away before he can get killed. They tell him they are mages, and that he will soon be one of them. Soon, he's pulled into a crazy conflict. The god of darkness is after the mages, who of course won't go down without a fight. The mages create a plan to summon another goddess to destroy the one that's after them, and Zuwha and the others are the ones to get the things needed to summon her. But is everything they are told really all there is to it? Can they summon the goddess and make it out alive? {*I'm constantly editing when I find mistakes, so don't be surprised when a chapter is re-uploaded*} Thanks for taking the time to read this. Once again I'll have to mention that I'm not native English so that there will be mistakes from time to time. And I'm in dire need of a proper title, as this one is plain bad. Also in need of a cover, but I'm working on it. Don't be shy to leave comments, I really need them. Thanks ^-^ -={ Cover by: Lucinda- }=-

Two hundred years into the future, society is recovering from global collapse, and genetic modification has saved the remaining population from a hunger crisis. Designer children have been the city's best-kept secret for years, but strange side effects are now appearing as they hit adolescence. When a freak suicide forces modification into the public eye, eighteen-year-old Astrid is about to learn how difficult it is to stay under the radar when you really were born to stand out.
