Yeah hard work pays off and all that but it's really all about the timing. That's what life is all about. When the timing's wrong, it doesn't matter what you do, it's not your time. Don't even try to force things, there's no point. Just accept it and better luck next time! But what if there is no more next time? That's life and it will go on.
