Maidel grabbed the side of the sink, gasping for breath. Her eyes were red and her cheeks were stained with tears. She didn't know who she loved more. Pain was tearing at Maidel's heart, ripping it in two. She couldn't stand being in the middle because it seems like everything she does, hurts them both. Maidel hears banging on the bathroom door and the screaming voices of her parents. She drops to the floor, blood dripping, tears falling, and the pain in her heart...becomes unbearable.

Hudson had a bad reputation at school, but Emmery thinks otherwise. Soon, Emmery finds out that her chances of getting killed increases everytime she gets closer to Hudson. Now that she knows that there is another person who understands her secret better than anyone else, would she have the ability to stay away from him? Would he stay away her to keep her safe?
