However, as the year carries on, it's not all it was shaped up to be, as it never really is for them. When Dementors suddenly start appearing within the walls of their promised "safe" final year and people start going missing, one more final push may be required of them. After the events of the final Harry Potter book, both Hermoine and Draco return to repeat their final year of Hogwarts. While she struggles with nightmares of the past, he struggles to find a future for himself. Through a series of events, they're brought together and form an unlikely friendship. Only, both know deep down this was more than that. Will they have the courage to come together? This is another co-written story! "I...I love Ron." His lips brushed against her ear as he breathed softly, "Then tell me to stop." They thought the war was over. Little did they know it was only just beginning. After the war, Hermione thinks she has her life back on track. She can finally finish her schooling and be with the love of her life. Little does she know that fate has something else in mind. Draco has spent the summer mulling over every action he has taken that has led his life to this point. What he finds is disgust and guilt that he just can't seem to shake; until he finds solace in the one person he never thought would listen. Bonds are tested, friendships are forged, love is found, and all the while a dark threat arises from the shadows to take on the task the Dark Lord has left.

It's been one year since the war ended and the Golden Trio is headed back to Hogwarts. Hermione is with Ron but things are changing... he's acting strange; possessive. She finds herself, much to the dismay of her friends and herself, sharing a common room with Draco Malfoy. It's hell at first, but as she gets to know the Slytherin Prince it suddenly isn't so bad and he begins to be the one she turns to and soon, the one she craves. Life can't be easy though. Death Eaters have escaped from Azkaban and Hermione is kidnapped. It's up to her friends and Draco to find her. Can they save her? What other dangers are lurking in the dark? Somebody is out for blood. The question is, can they figure out who and stop them before it's too late?

"In all honesty and truth, Draco praised the face Hermione owned." Hermione, while suffering the psychological aftermaths of the war, must return to Hogwarts for her last year. However, when faced with an old enemy, will she be able to grow and save herself? Draco Malloy has been utterly in love with Hermione since he could remember. Yet, he knows she would never feel the same. Maybe fate will give him another chance as he spends the last year of Hogwarts with the love of his life.

the summer before sixth year: Draco's parents are dead; he's no longer useful to the Dark Lord, and is planned to be killed off. So he's brought to 12 Grimmauld Place, where the golden trio is also staying. After a few encounters with Hermione, they find it getting harder to stay away from each other.

"How does it feel like? To be kissed?" He snaked an arm around my waist so that we faced each other, our faces only an inch apart. He ran his fingers softly across my cheek. "I thought-" "Ah, everyone thought so, but no. I've preserved my first kiss for the special girl." His eyes twinkled as his nose tickled mine. "A lot of girls would kill to steal your first kiss." I breathed. "Would you?" ~ They will fight for glory. They will strive for what they want. For happiness. For love. "I know there's nothing wrong, but what if everybody thinks it is? Then we'll be alone..." He whispered, resting his head in his hands. "I don't mind being alone, as long as it's with you." - Hogwarts has reopened after the war, and Professor McGonagall has given Draco Malfoy another chance to attend the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She may be forgiving, but will the others? Will they accept him or repel him? And more importantly, will the former Death Eater accept himself?

The battle is over and won; Hogwarts has been returned to its original glory and is awaiting its new, and returning, students.
