"Magic can be unpredictable. Especially when your dealing with a curse." Arthur said while unlocking the trap door. "There is no telling what could happen. You could lose your wings.... or worse." There was a click and Arthur placed the key in his pocket. He stood up and stared into Alfred's sapphire blue eyes. "You still have a chance to go back. Once we enter this room, you could be dragged into the darkness along with me." Arthur explained, hoping Alfred would change his mind. Alfred smiled and put his hands on Arthur's shoulders, "If it means that I get to be your hero, then that's all that matters to me."

Hetalia academy AU. Arthur's life isn't great right now. His "friends" somehow found out about his sexuality, the only thing he wanted nobody to know about. As teenagers go, of course they weren't very accepting. That's how he ended up bloody and bruised in the school courtyard. Just when things are looking dark, something unexpected appears. And never did Arthur ever expect, that he would be hanging around with the slightly annoying, slightly hyperactive, student council outcast, known by the name of Alfred F Jones. When Norway suddenly goes missing and a string of clues is left in the Nordic house it's Denmark's job to find the man he loves and bring him back to safety.

"I'm trying to protect you from hurting yourself, you drunk idiot!" Lukas stormed forward. His patience had run out, and he'd had enough of this conversation. "I'm trying to protect you from falling in love!" That should have been enough to start a full-blown fist fight, which Lukas was more than prepared for. He stomped to a sharp halt, his body only inches from Mathias's. The Danish man, however, must have gotten the answer he was looking for. A needle of shock pierced his chest when the wildfire in Mathias's expression diminished. He suddenly felt very large in comparison to his downtrodden companion, whose posture and fiery disposition died out like the Roman Empire. Mathias side-stepped out from between the car and the Norwegian who cornered him. Cautiously, Lukas watched as he rounded the car and stopped only when he stood outside of the passenger door. He laid his palms flat across the top of the vehicle and sighed. "Alright, Nor. Just take me home."

When Gilbert Beilschmidt finds himself threatened with expulsion for his less-than-satisfactory grades and inability to control his temper, he reluctantly accepts the offer of being tutored and joining the cursed Oyster Club- a club ridden with the school's motley crew of delinquents and run by happy-go-lucky art teacher Ms. Braginski. Needless to say, Gilbert isn't terribly enthusiastic about his future experience, but his outlook changes when he crosses paths with childhood friend Elizaveta Héderváry.
