Your parents left you, stranded in a parking lot. You waited by that ice cream shoppe for hours, asking strangers if they knew when your parents were going to come back, and get you. Some ignored you, some just replied with a simple "I don't know," then kept walking. Nobody bothered to help you, and you were scared, hungry, and lonely as the sun started to set, the air became colder, and people became scarce. It just so happens, that a certain robot came across your path.

"Where did you come from?" Ilia asked and that's when everything stopped. Where did I come from? I tried to remember, I thought really hard but all I could say was, "I came from a place where no mortal should ever come from if they dare keep their head." The words tumbled from my mouth before I could stop them. I slapped a hand over my mouth, scared I would say more I didn't understand. Why would I say that? (Y/n) had awoke inside of a strange house, surrounded by strange kids. The only issue with that logic, she has no memory. Nothing to trigger why the young man Link and the group of children would be so kind to a stranger. It dawns on her that she needs to find out who she is again. However a darkness is brewing, and Link has a destiny to follow. The strings of fate tangle between the young duo, and (Y/n) makes a decision to help save Hyrule from the darkness. With nothing more than a brave face and an emerald pendant tying her back home, she sets out with Link. They also fall under the service of an imp itching for revenge. However, there is one person standing in the way of (Y/n) getting home. Her best friend, the Usurper King, Zant. He has made it his life goal to protect (Y/n) from himself and place a veil over her eyes to keep her from seeing his wrongs. Her wrath would for sure be the end of his evil plans. And during their adventures, they stumble upon another wolf, and she is not just any other wolf... She's a wolf full of secrets.

It has been 27 years since Hyrule was taken over by a powerful kingdom named Amadahy, leaving Hylians to be treated worst than dirt itself. All of his life, Link had made sure to remember one thing: Don't ever disagree with someone of Amadahian blood unless you wished to be killed. 'Their horrible, heartless, people', 'They don't care if the whole Hylian race is no more; they'll kill us anyways', 'they either want our money or us dead'. These are all things he heard about the Amadhians over the years but when he meets (Y/n), he begins to learn that not all the Amadhians are what they're told to be. The problem now is the fact that he'd be killed just by making eye contract with a girl of her race, let along falling in love with the daughter of the King...

This is the sequel to the story: "The Best Knight?" so if you haven't read that book, I would read it first since the plot is crucial. Since Hyrule's best knight (Y/N) (L/N), suddenly disappeared, Link has been chosen as the replacement. Hyrule still remains the same, but now a new darkness unknown to its inhabitants will arise, bringing back Hyrule's previous best.
