A girl with her heart on her sleeve and boy with a reputation of breaking them. A/N: I started writing with this when I was 13. I love it a lot because I used it as a platform to talk about issues that mean a lot to me and I feel don't get enough attention (especially as I got older and learnt more), but please keep that in mind!! Cover made by: (sorry i haven't gotten your name yet, but i will put it down once i get it!) WARNING: This book deals with issues like self-harm and mental health. HIGHEST RANKING: #2 in Teen Fiction COPYRIGHT ©2015

And suddenly, every love song was about you. ~ Breathless. Empty. Alone. Incomplete. Imperfect. These are the thoughts that follow me as I walk through the school. They are the ones that follow me everywhere. They are the ones I cannot seem to escape. But most of all, they don’t even describe how bad I actually feel. I try not to be depressed, for my mom, my sister, my “friends.” It works. I use a smile as a mask, and my laughs are fake. Though, they can’t tell the difference. My puffy eyes are hidden under makeup, the scars I bear are concealed beneath clothes. And yeah, I do feel invisible sometimes, but then I found our place. Suddenly I wasn’t so invisible. ~ Who is she? This question echos through me head for what seems like an eternity. I had never noticed her until that day, the day she made me breathless in my- our place. She had this long, wispy blonde hair. And these eyes, these eyes that made you want to get to know her. Because she seemed to be a mystery to everyone and I could tell she held sadness. She seemed 16, but her eyes held an eternity of wisdom. After that, I never found her. It was like she had become invisible, and for the first time I felt lost. I searched everywhere, but she was gone. I began to think she was magical, and maybe she only appeared now and then. But then, I saw her, and suddenly I felt more complete.
