It's been a while without Noodle, the real one. About 4 or so years. Murdoc Niccals thought it'd be a good idea to make a cyborg, like a robot of Noodle using a piece of her hair for DNA. That is when Cyborg Noodle was created. Or Cyborg for short. 2D was always afraid of the plastic robot. Her robotic voice made him fear the cyborg. He wanted the real Noodle. He wanted to hear her voice and see her real skin, not plastic. 2D has been depressed without Noodle, wishing every day that she'd return, but she wouldn't. She was dead, and the band knew she was. They would never see their real Noodle again, just the cheap plastic one, the fake, the rhinestone.

Noodle and 2D have always been like brother and sister. That is, until one night, they have a drunk one-night stand- but it isn't a one time thing. The two begin a 'friends with benefits' relationship, sneaking in to each others' rooms every night to have sex and sleep together.
