Humans are just game pieces to them. These 'God's' feel no remorse when they roll the dice and by the games rules, let's a person fall ill or get in an accident. Above the ten 'God's' is Number One. She is the original being who created the Earth and the existence of humans along with her companions who follow her every word, fearing her wrath. She is the most fickle of them all, fearing nothing or no one. But what will happen when she comes across a certain hyperactive ninja, whom she has no control over? He is what the 'God's' call a 'Free Soul'. A rare case when a human is created without a thread connected to the 'God's'. He makes his own decisions and is controlled by no one, but himself. Wanting to puzzle this mystery for herself, Number One does the unthinkable; she travels to Earth disguised as a human to get close to this 'Free Soul'. Going by the name Lacey, she grows close to Naruto and learns what it means to feel. But will she overstep the rules and end up falling for a human?
