Kellin Quinn is the kid in the back of the class, who gets bullied because of his sexuality. Vic Fuentes is the one who seems to be at every social event their school has. Simply put, these two are look like polar opposites, right? Wrong. Everybody has secrets that they never intend on telling anyone, but sometimes, we all make slips. Si incontreranno nel modo più classico possibile: a scuola, solo che non sarà come i soliti romanzi rosa: "Si guardarono negli occhi e fu immediatamente amore, non sapevano dire come mai, ma già da quel momento erano sicuri di doversi stringere l'uno all'altro"; no, No, NO. -Se vi aspettate una storia del genere lasciate stare, non sono il mio forte cose del genere- Forse perché entrambi hanno una passione in comune, forse quello era soltanto un pretesto per iniziare a parlare con il nuovo compagno, ma grazie ad un testo scarabocchiato sul quaderno di Victor, i due faranno amicizia e inizieranno quella che sarà la loro amicizia, che tra mille dubbi, pianti e baci dati di nascosto, si trasformerà in una storia d'amore. !Avvertimento! Nello scrivere la storia, non ho descritto perfettamente il periodo in cui entrambe le band sono entrate nelle rispettive case discografiche e la loro discografia; cioè i pierce the veil qui, come primo album pubblicato, c'è "selfish machines" e non "a flair for dramatic" (anche se la casa discografica in cui entreranno inizialmente sarà la stessa in cui si ritrovarono quando fecero a flair for dramatic) mentre per gli sleeping with sirens, anche nel periodo di "with ears to see and eyes to hear" avevano nella band gli attuali componenti, cioè Justin, Gabe, Nick, Jack e Kellin.
