A lot of Tom Nook x Redd stories have Redd as the bad guy, but, what if Tom was the evil one? In this story, Tom has done something awful in his past, and it's finally caught up to him in the form of his vengeful former romantic partner, Redd. Redd came to get back, only to fall in love yet again, and Tom can't seem to remember why he did what he did. Or, more, is bashing himself for doing it when he had it all.
