STAR WARS SPOILERS!! We all know the smuggler Han Solo, who, in a fluke of fate, met Luke Skywalker and his sister, Leia Organa. Because of The Force Awakens, we know of the marriage between Han and Leia, which struggled, and eventually broke because of their son's rebellion. And we also know of how their son killed his father. But we know very little about Ben Solo's early life, before he was trained under Luke Skywalker, before he found the green crystal for his first lightsaber. Or even after that, before his obsession with his grandfather and Snoke's pull tugged him over into the dark side. And here it is. (Timeline: Six years after the Battle of Endor to ten years before The Force Awakens) (P.S. "I can fly anything." Poe Dameron, Ben's best friend, the Resistance's best pilot. For seven years he trained as a Jedi under Luke's instruction before realizing that the Force didn't call to him the same as it did to his fellow padawans. So he left to become a pilot. --Sequel to Ben Solo-- Ben Solo has turned to the Dark Side. The First Order, led by Snoke through his puppets, Kylo Ren and the young General Hux, is getting bolder, and launching attacks against Leia Organa's Resistance. Meanwhile, Luke has run, afraid that his sister will blame her son's turning on his negligence. With the strain of the upcoming war and their son's rebellion, Han and Leia's marriage frays at the edges. The Resistance searches for the bits of maps that Luke is sending from his exile, and as they hunt them down, they realize they aren't the only ones looking. (Despite the title, this story follows the Resistance leaders and pilots more than Kylo/Ben himself, though there will be a few chapters about him) Time period: Ten years before The Force Awakens to about a week before, picking up where "Ben Solo" left off. This story (as a prequel) is mine, and so are the non-canon characters (except the ones people suggested, but I expanded on them, so technically the characters are mine), so please don't take them. I spend a lot of time on my characters, whether I kill them or keep them alive, so please don't take them.

FN-2187 Raised as a storm trooper, he eventually defects after seeing the cruelty of what he was being forced to do. He rescues Resistance pilot Poe Dameron, and escapes. He meets Rey, gets a map from BB-8 to Leia, and fights Kylo Ren. But not much is said about before that. When he rescued his friend from a simulated enemy and almost was forced out. And his friend's fierce loyalty. This book changes all of that. (Timeline: One year before TFA to the first half hour of TFA. This is a shorter one.) --Companion to "Ben Solo"--

The little girl abandoned on Jakku, in the care of Unkar Plutt, Rey. The orphan. The scavenger. Since she was four, she has climbed around the debris of the battles, collecting parts she could exchange for food. Until she rescues a droid, and meets a defected storm trooper, and steals a ship that turns out to be the legend Han Solo's, and fights Kylo Ren. But this is all before that. Over the next few years, about five more Star Wars movies will be released, with countless trailers and teasers, thus giving an opportunity for theories.
