In celebration of his high school graduation, Natsu and his friends go to a ski resort. While exploring on his own, he stumbles across a certain blonde girl, standing at the edge of a cliff. Due to their unexpected encounter, she runs away. Along the way, she drops her diary. Natsu picks it up, and curiousity gets the best of him. Things take a horrible twist, when he discovers the contents within her diary.

"Natsu?" She whispered hesitantly, her head tilted upwards. "The hell do you want?!" He snapped. Lucy's heart sank to the pit of her stomach, tears threatening to spill from her eyes. She hurried away, nearly tripping in her effort to run - run anywhere else. As soon as he was out of her sight, her knees buckled under her, causing Lucy to collapse. "I thought- y-you said forever... Natsu." The flow of tears wouldn't stop, no matter how hard she desperately tried to keep them at bay. "Lucy Heartfilia?" Despite her grief, she got up almost immediately. Her head turned as she looked around with scrunched eyebrows and a hand wiping at the corners of her eyes, "Huh?" Next thing she knew, her eyes had been blindfolded and her mouth covered. "Mmph!" Her muffled cries faded away just as her consciousness did. She's known as one of the best musicians in the whole school. Also she's a huge bookworm. But she loves music more. Lucy doesn't communicate by voice. When she does, she'll only do it to her closest friend. Lucy mostly communicates by music. She plays tons of instruments. Natsu one day is walking down the hall after school, when he suddenly hears piano music. The music is sad. He goes into the room Lucy is in silently. After hearing her play, Natsu wants to listen to more of her music. But even more then that. He wants to hear her voice. Will he get her to talk?
