"Die Drangsalierte" war mein Beitrag zum Kurzgeschichten-Contest des SadWolf-Verlages, ist jedoch deutlich zu lang ausgefallen, um noch als Kurzgeschichte zu gelten ;-) Eigentlich ist sie komplett fertig, aber, um die Wortzahlvorgabe nicht vollständig zu sprengen, hatte ich sie gekürzt und anders abgegeben, als sie hätte sein sollen. Nun werde ich hier nach und nach die Geschichte so veröffentlichen, wie sie hätte werden sollen :-) Zum Inhalt möchte ich gar nicht zu viel verraten. Dave Gahan is having a pretty bad time. Losing his wife, his home, his phone and his money, it's been a really rough night. And now he's ended up on the doormat of a random flat in a familiar town.

After a show in 1985, the members of Depeche Mode retire back to their hotel to pack up for the road and get some rest. Each of the members is staying in a separate hotel room. Dave finished his packing, but one thing has been on his mind lately, and he won't be able to sleep until it's been appeased.

A romance set in the early 80s. Including, Martin Lee Gore, Dave Gahan, Alan Wilder, you know the drill. Trans/nonbinary stuff.

When one night changes Martins life forever can Dave help him and make Martin smile the same way he used to, or is Martin a lost cause. This fic revolves around the topic of rape, if this is a triggering topic for you please be careful or don't read. I will not put warnings on chapters as it will likely be a constant topic throughout. Again this book has mature content and isn't for all readers. Also this fic isn't accurate to real life, for example this is very young Depeche Mode, earlier than Playing The Angel however I make reference to the song precious, or I may put songs on an album they don't really belong to purely for the purpose of this book, so please know it's intentional.

Alan stumbles across Martin on the edge of a bridge one night. He later finds out that Martin is prepared to take his own life. Will he be able to save him or will it be too late? (Nothing in this is fact it's just a nice little story that this song always makes me think about)
