Max is finally happy. The flock is safe, she and Fang are married and even have a daughter. But, Fang doesn't know if he is ready for all this. Fang runs away. Away from the stress, away from his daughter, away from Max.

Max has to go back to the School to keep her flock safe from harm... Even though she hates Fang... She's not doing it for him, she is doing it for the flock... To keep them safe forever. Her flock could have a normal life. At the School, Max gets changed forever.
