[book one] The game was simple: A contest comprised of three unique challenges, designed to test a human's strength physically and mentally, their personality compatibility, and their chance of survival. The prize was excruciatingly tempting: The chance to be reborn, into a strong immortal creature of the Night, and to stand beside one of the sexiest men alive for the rest of your endless life --as his Mate. But was the cost too much? ~ If you happen to be reading this story from any other platform other than Wattpad (or Tapas), please note that you are very likely to be at risk of a malware attack. One day, author John Green finds Benedict Cumberbatch hiding in his office. Many of us would be happy with that. But what do you do when Benedict is convinced he is Sherlock, and that the television show Sherlock is a ruse set up by Moriarty and must be shut down? You call your brother Hank, who has many hot tubs, and you think of a plan to get Benedict Cumberbatch home. But the path back to the set of Sherlock is not an easy one, or a fully clothed one, or one that can happen on dry land. Benedict doesn't seem to know that there is more than one John in the world, and he believes all of the fanfic he has ever read. Also, Doritos.

"The feeling was overwhelming. Everything was overwhelming right then. At first I could have sworn I was dying. I was looking at a figure, but this figure was so different from anything I had ever discerned. I tried to find my thoughts so that I could establish what I was looking at. I stumbled closer to my window, and that's when it hit me. The figure was a person, a boy in fact. The boy was unalike anything my eyes had ever come in contact with. It wasn't long before I realized what was so unfamiliar about him. He had color."
