Long time ago, scientists discovered that there are intelligent species other than humans that lives in Earth. 'Monsters' as humans calls them, for they have many different features that humans imagines a 'monster', a hybrid of sorts; human/animal/insects. Like humans, there are good 'monsters' and bad 'monsters'. Thus, the reason why humans doesn't treat them differently that much. Sure, people get scared by their appearance, due to the differences between the two species. But both species wants to live in a world of peace that doesn't want destruction and war.
