"Run!" I yelled as a limping figure made it's way towards a 6th grader. The 6th grader was frozen in shock and didn't move an inch. I look around trying to find something. Thank the heavens the gate of the school shed was breaking making it easy to break a piece of wood off. "Kazzy get the kid out of the thing's way"I yelled to my best friend and she immediately did as I said as I took long strides to the limping creature. I should be confident I've been preparing myself for this all my life. But fear was trying to swallow me whole. I remembered who I'm doing this for. My friends. My family. My brother. My sister. My mother. Everybody who taught me to never cry or show fear. I cleared my throat as it got closer. I stopped moving. I studied the horrifying creature.
