He's going on a killing spree, murdering anything that crosses his path, including his friends. Only one person can stop him, but he's gone. How are Sonic's friends going to stop him when the only person that can keep him sane is dead?

Sonic Ayers is the "new kid" at Blue Ridge High School, and already everyone loves him. He's hot, caring, smart, athletic, and a goofball. He makes everyone around him happy, and never cusses or talks bad about anyone. He never shows aggressiveness or anger, the only feeling he seems to possess is happiness. Lots of people think his life is perfect, and think they know him very well. But do they really know him? However, Shadow Blackburn's life isn't seemingly perfect at all. He's the "emo kid". Everybody tries to avoid him, except the bullies. Shadow is endlessly bullied and picked on, and to make his life worse, he has abusive parents. They actually used to be sweet and kind, however after he told them he was gay, they immediately became abusive. He's been abused by them for four years now. He's even considered suicide, but then Sonic came to their high school. Shadow became curious about him, he always wore a blue sweater, even if it was 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Although he never looked like he was overheated. Shadow saw something off about him, and he wanted to figure him out. He was curious. But is it worth it? Sonic also becomes curious about Shadow. Why does everyone hate him? Is a question he asks himself often. He wants to find out more about Shadow. But is it worth it?
