a collection of poems in which you meet twenty-six boys and read their stories from the perspective of twenty-six other boys. you've met most of them before, in reality, outside these pages. and you've seen some of their faces in the street. and you read some of their names in their social media urls or the headlines. you may have had a crush on a few and wished death upon one or two. who knows? (i don't. but you will the moment you recognise a story or a name or a quote, and god, i'm so, so sorry if the recognition pulls a threat of memories you think you have burnt away.) © 2018, jack (-reject), all rights reserved.

Celeste Blackwood is a freshman in high school at Briar Preparatory Academy. But from the first day, when she learned how to flip a grown man over her shoulder instead of PE, it has been obvious that BPA is no normal school. BPA is a high school working with the United States govt to train and release operatives to Interpool, the CIA, the FBI, and the Secret Service. Celeste is being trained in the arts of countersurveillence, physical defense, coding and encryption, tailing, and many other techniques that she will use in her life as an operative. Because as a spy, courage is mandatory.

Sixteen-year-old Celeste Blackwood has spent her high school years at an academy that teaches self defense techniques instead of P.E. class and how to crack computer codes instead of using the pythagorean theorem. She was taught how to shoot a gun when she was eight years old, and she knew how to take down a full grown man by the time she was ten. That's what you learn when you attend Briar Preparatory Academy, a school for young men and women training to work closely with the United States government. Things go south whenever a man by the name of Jasper Vegas seeks out vengeance on the school because of a dark past he has with the headmaster of the Academy. It is up to Celeste and her friends to find out why this man wants to see the destruction of Briar Prep. It is also their duty to defend it at all costs, whether it means life or death. Because when you are training to be a spy, courage is mandatory.

Moving to a new school sucks. Especially when your name is Beatrice Prior. But no one would expect... well, this. Between bullying and schoolwork and some drama with her family and friends, Tris is finding it harder and harder to handle this new life of hers. But maybe she can find a way to balance it all out. Maybe she can find a way to survive reality. This was originally written on IG and I transferred it over. The sequel is better I promise (mostly because it lacks a lot of grammatical and spelling errors, unlike this one).

"If we're serious about this, do Thea first. I never did like that bitch." I whispered into the darkness. Arden grinned, and typed her name and date of birth into the bars. Her finger hovered over the 'accept' button, and I sat up straight next to her, my hand on her arm. I nodded sharply, and her finger clicked the button. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, and pulled her into a hug. "It probably won't work anyway. It'll just be bullshit," I whispered into her hair. We had just hired a hitman to kill our friend. And I really hoped it worked. --------------------------------- Although the information and the content in this story can be found there, I'm aware this is no where near an accurate description to how the real Deep Web is set out/works. That's the point - this is a story about my own version of it, DarkNet :)

Highest Ranks: |Mystery/Thriller #1| |Action #3| I was trained my whole life to disarm a grown man using nothing but a credit card, nail files, and a sock if I'm lucky. Becoming a cheerleader sounded laughable compared to everything I've done. But I soon learn that balancing spirit weeks, cute boys, and curling wands along with nuclear weapons, evil psychopaths, and rogue agents is a lot more work than I thought. I mean would you suspect a varsity cheerleader to be a spy working for the CIA? Or Interpol? The FBI maybe? Of course not which is why it works. Never judge a book or a girl by her cover. ••BOOK 1 IN THE JUST UNDERCOVER TRILOGY•• *cover by @THEICEWOLVES
