Short suspense story I wrote for Creative Writing

The catch to life isn't finding an escape, it's finding THE escape. To some it's a bogus idea, escaping reality, but to some... It's a necessity. We see everyday nature as a two dimensional environment; normal, random, sorta bland but with dashes of radiant allure. Jeremiah on the other hand was born different. Special. He sees patterns, flows, beauty, wisdom, respect, humility, knowledge even, hidden inside the folds of nature. He was truly special, in ways he cannot yet manifest in his average sized cranium.
