[Now free to read!] Scott Wilson isn't used to being corrected, and he definitely didn't expect to get his biggest dose of criticism by his coach's daughter - Elle Monroe. ***** When Scott Wilson is drafted to try out for the Marlies hockey team, it's easily the best day of his life. He's cocky and for good reason. He's spent his entire life being told that he's a hockey prodigy and he knows that he's on the path to his destiny. Then Elle Monroe shows up, and throws off his entire plan. Elle - the daughter of his coach - is loud, rude, confident, and gets a special kick out of knocking Scott down a peg or two. Scott doesn't want to accept the help she's offering, but eventually he does, and it turns into a lot more than he was expecting. Scott isn't used to a lot of things, but there's one especially that he's never prepared for: a beautiful, loud girl stealing his jersey every day before their practices. *Completed* "I just want to know why." I say as I turn over, trying to find his figure through the dark of my room. "Why what?" He asks. "Why you're being so nice to me." I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. She didn't play any sports, didn't participate in the popular activities, and wasn't the girl all the boys chased after. All except one boy. He wrote her a letter every week. Each letter described something new for him to love about her. Whether it was how beautiful her laugh was or how his heart swelled with every smile she gave, he never failed to write how he felt. So the two should be together, right? That's the way Reagan wants it, but there's just one problem. He signs his letters "Love, Anonymous." Now add an obnoxious, conceited, sex god into the equation and you get a teenage girl confused on who really loves her. The sweet, tender written anonymous lover, or the cocky, ignorant asshole? -REVIEWS- "You create such wonderful characters and I can't wait to see what happens next!" VampireSa5m41993 "Thank you for wonderful dogs and little brothers and eccentrically hormonal best friends!" -Nat-Attack "I am totally hooked on this book!" nbazinet "I love the way the story flows and that you have really roundabout characters. It's as if they're real while I'm reading!" life_is_beautiful115 "Your work is literally art." lemonsun123 "Every time I read this book it just makes me smile." Nicooole97 Cover by: -winterr

Dustin isn't particularly pleased when his mother's freshly divorced best friend, Cathy, decides to temporarily move in with them. It means a whole lot of late-night gossiping, chick flicks, and mood swings. But things get interesting when Cathy turns up at the doorstep with more than just baggage. She brings along her daughter. Constantly travelling between two parents who refuse to talk, Ashley is forced to leave her life behind as she moves halfway across town with her mother. Thinking she's going to be spending her nights with two single and drunk, middle-aged women, she discovers there's a touch of testosterone to the household. And that testosterone comes with glasses and dimples. But what starts out as simple interest, combined, the two manage to create menace and mischief; the lack of privacy pushing them to breaking point. And it's only a matter of time before everyone realises that Dust and Ash are the results of one complete and utter disaster.

© poisonedfreedom
