Scourge and his parents move around a lot, which doesn't give him much of chance of making any friends and keeping them, his life is normal besides that, but when he moves into a small town off of the coast, things get strange His house always gives him the chills and make him feel like he's being watched, but he never sees who's watching him, he sees things that he can't explain and his and his parents possessions turn up in odd places At school, it's almost the same, except students report this occurrences when they happen, sometimes they see floating objects, other times blood covering the floors and even running down the walls of classrooms and the bathrooms Even when he walks around town he's sees things like this, but he's the only one who can see them without their consent first, which pisses some of them off

Addiction is an awful thing. Eggman's plan was give Shadow a set of pills to fuel his temptation to kill Sonic. Shadow only took the pills for the chaos emeralds Eggman offered. When the pills are switched out for an antidote Tails creates after Shadow nearly kills Sonic, Shadow takes them without realizing to finish what he started. An emotion if artificial attraction from the antidote takes Shadow over, an addition begins to form. An addition for an emotion Shadow hadn't felt since Maria, one he didn't want to forget again.
