Lucy Heartfilia is an undercover police officer in the Magnolia Police Department (MPD). She hasn't been home long before she is called upon for another mission. Her mission this time: infiltrate a local gang's ranks and feed the police information; bring them down no matter the cost. She takes on the job, shaking off her embarrassment of her last--failed--mission. As her mission wears on, she finds it increasingly harder to turn over the information she was sent there along with two others for, and finds that the people of 'Fairy Tail' aren't even bad people at all.
