High school for Jennifer Crosby was one huge blur, having her heart and head locked in an intense battle. It regarding her feelings for her sworn arch nemesis, Collin Myers, who she develops a soft spot for as time proceeds. But that soft spot soon turns into an obsession, since she can no longer see her life without him. Which ultimately does more harm than good when they're nearly killed by his jealous ex-best friend one fateful prom evening. Brought together now as a couple, the two set off with their closest friends on vacation to California. Along with a girl who can silence an entire room with a single utterance. After their old friend follows his gut feeling about the trip and backs out, everyone continues on despite. Jennifer begins to get harassed by the prom night gunman, which causes an unforeseen hostage situation to await them when they reach their joint condo. Everyone's discretely messaged by the incarcerated gunman, and demanded to do things that'll test every individual friendship. Failure to comply and complete the challenge results in that person's secret being shared to the entire group. Blood will be shed, emotions provoked and worst of all, limits exceeded. How far will the 8 friends go to keep their deepest and darkest secrets unrevealed?

Her best friend Destiny Hamilton was a cheerleader but wasn't exactly in on the it crowd. They both seemed to keep to each other until one day the head cheerleader Madison Valentine comes up to Monica asking her a favor. A favor to play a game with the school's newest hottie. Derek Reid. Derek used to believe in love, it's what he lived and breathe for. Until he watched his mother become a slut because of it. She lives with her mom during the week and her father every now and then. It just something she's never witnessed so she didn't believe in it, to her it was just a myth. So when she gets asked to play the game of love with Derek she literally can't say no.
