Every conversation we shared, every fleeting moment, every tortured scream when they dragged her away, played on a relentless loop in my memory. It was all so real, so disturbingly clear, as though I could still hear her voice bouncing off the sterile, white walls. Her screams, piercing, childlike yet laden with horror, reverberated through the room back then, and now, they echoed endlessly inside my mind.
