His attempt in doing this results in an outcome that changes Renata's life completely. This turn in fate ultimately convinces Renata to join the Survey Corps. Renata struggles with her trust, determination, and strength as she lives an entirely new life of comradeship and war: things that she didn't need to deal with during her days as a slave. However, her life as a Survey Corps member isn't entirely bad. She realizes a much deeper meaning of life from her time spent with the cold Captain Levi. As he continues to work with her, Levi sees the beauty of compassion and empathy; two aspects of Renata that shine above all else. In this compelling fan-made story, readers will witness true love that reaches above and beyond walls: love that will remain eternal even if the day of humanity's obliteration becomes an unfortunate reality. It's rarely known where the famous duo of Humanity's Strongest Soldiers came from since they didn't arrive together.
