She enrolls her final year in Ashley Waters, where she now has to take even more elaborate measures to hide herself. Sang is no longer Sang, but instead Sage. Her hair is cut short, her chest binded, and she's now afraid. Afraid of the man her father had hired to find her, afraid of the nightmares her mother left behind, afraid to let those guys in. But everything always seems to find her, and Sang's past is beginning to catch up with her.

What happens when the Sorensen house hold get an invite from Prince Victor Morgan demanding that all the maidens in the kingdom attend his ball where he will choose a bride? will Sang be allowed to attend or be punished for even suggesting such an outlandish thing?
