She's torn between being forced to do this. She doesn't want to lose it during interrogation and hurt the probable culprit, as she's short-tempered. Then she meets Levi Ackerman, another FBI agent, who is still recovering to past trauma he experienced recently, and he's ice cold towards her. And she is determined to break that ice.
